How many Yous are there?

Have you ever wondered how many "You"s there are out there. I know what you are thinking and I'm not talking about twins or clones or people you resemble. I'm talking about you but the different yous that you either portray or that others perceive. For instance, is the you that your women thinks of the same as the one your boys know or the one your parents think of or even better the one that people at work know. Now I'm not saying its a good or bad thing to have different perceptions by different people. Different situations call for different behaviors. But have you ever stopped to count how many ways people view you differently.

Is it ok to use different behaviors for varying audiences or environments? What does it say about you as a person if two people have distinctly different opinions of your character or your personality? I'd like to think I'm the same all the time but I know I'm not. Its actually very interesting that depending on where I am and how long I'm there I can be polar opposites. Also factor in those around me and you can seriously label me Dr. Jekyl or Mr. Hyde. Shouldn't we as people strive to be the same no matter what the situation? Or is it human nature to conform to your environment? I'm sure no one has all the answers but if you have thoughts I'd love to hear them.

Reason I ask is that I recently sent a survey out to some of my friends asking them to answer questions about me. These questions range from your middle name to your best feature to their favorite memory of you. I plan on posting the best answers to each question once I get the results but I thought it was hilarious the kind of stuff that people remember or associate with you. Stay tuned for the details...
